Reminders from the Presbytery

Please remember to send info about your PC(USA) mission co-worker connection(s) to Sue Smith. In an effort to increase the level of support for PC(USA) mission co-workers around the globe, PC(USA) World Mission invited each presbytery to accept the challenge of having 100% of their congregations in a relationship with at least one PC(USA) mission co-worker. At its November 2009 meeting, Monmouth Presbytery became the 16th presbytery to accept this goal and set an objective of having 100% participation by the end of 2010.

Church on the Hill in Ocean has invited the presbytery to a dinner on Wednesday, August 18 to meet and greet PC(USA) mission co-workers Christi and Jeff Boyd. Please remember to R.S.V.P.the church office with the total number of attendees from your church.

There are new postings at the Clerk’s Corner including another GA FAQ on Immigration, a sermon on the General Assembly, and Status Confessionis? Are we in a “status confessionis?” That’s what the General Assembly is asking the presbyteries.

Please remember to send Terms of Call and Annual Reports to Monmouth Presbytery, PO Box 369, 446 Tennent Road, Tennent, NJ 07763-0369

Please e-mail announcements, upcoming events, and classified ads to Barbara
